Hi Gavin. Hope u are doing well :-)

I have also encountered a case like this before.

Like you, I tried compacting with several different options unsuccessfully and in the end, I had to make a new copy of the mail file.

Have you tried doing a fixup and updall on the file?
Also, are you getting errors when you try to compact or does it say "Compacted somemailfile.nsf, 0K bytes recovered (0%)"?
